After many years of absence, Remington is back in the handgun business with the new R1 1911 style pistol. All are 45AP and built in the Remington plant in ILion, NY. They are being produced in conjunction with a contract between E-RPC LLC and Remington. If you like Remington you'll like the great fit and finish they put on the famous 1911 pistol.
